Our Story

Ravindaran Alagasan

Ravindaran Alagasan, Chiropractor and the Founder of iChiropractic, brings a wealth of expertise and qualifications to his practice.

Qualifications:

1. BSc in Chiropractic from the International Medical University (IMU) with First Class Honors.

2. Master’s in Business Administration with a specialization in Healthcare Management from Open University Malaysia.

Experience:

With nearly 13 years of experience as a chiropractor at a well-established chiropractic center in Malaysia, Ravindaran also served as the Director of Chiropractic Services during his latter years with the company. Currently, he is a part-time Clinical Preceptor (Lecturer) at the International Medical University Kuala Lumpur, guiding final-year interns in their chiropractic journey.

Certifications:

1. Certified in the Schroth Best Practice Program for conservative management of scoliosis and other spinal deformities, with exposure to Spinecor management.

2. Certified in Trigger Point Dry Needling Therapy for pain management and sports injuries.

3. Certified in managing upper and lower extremity injuries in sports chiropractic by the International Federation of Sports Chiropractic.

4. Certified in Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy.

Achievements:

1. Currently serving as the Honorary Secretary for the Association of Chiropractic, Malaysia (ACM), actively collaborating with the Traditional Complementary Division of the Ministry of Health Malaysia to regulate chiropractic-related matters in the country.

2. Invited as a guest speaker on local Tamil radio stations, RTM Minnal FM, and Astro THR Raaga FM, where he shares insights on the benefits of chiropractic treatment for common spine and joint conditions. He has also conducted public health talks at various venues.

3. Authored articles in local newspapers, shedding light on common health conditions treated by chiropractors, contributing to public awareness and education.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Came in March 2026 for bicep tendonitis issue.  Ms Eira from front office dealt with my registration. It was smooth and easy. Dr Ravindran treated me. He is very attentive to my concerns and suggested Hydrotheraphy with few others and i took up a 10 session package. My pain was a bit on the higher, and more serious side, and within session 7 or 8, I saw massive improvements. Pain level reduced a lot. At the moment, at the time of typing this review, I am still undergoing my treatment and can see more improvements. Dr Ravindran is very patient and friendly but of course he is serious when it comes to his advices. I am glad i found him.

I went in with a pinched nerve from sciatica that was causing great pain at my shoulder and numbness on my right hand at times. Dr Ravin was excellent. He took the time to listen to my issues, reviewed my recent X-ray, and really understood my problem. The treatment he provided was appropriate and effective. After just 3 sessions, I noticed a significant difference. I no longer feel the pain around my shoulder or numbness or pain around my hand Overall, it was a great experience. I initially came in with discomfort around my knee that was starting to affect my daily activities and workouts. The body adjustments chiro experience helped improve my overall alignment, and the shockwave therapy really sped up my recovery. I’ve been visiting this chiropractor whenever I feel like my body alignment is off or when I’m dealing with any discomfort, and every experience has been consistently excellent. He is incredibly calm, patient, and clearly knows exactly what he’s doing. What I really appreciate is that he never rushes into treatment — he takes the time to understand the issue properly before working on it. His approach feels genuinely focused on helping the patient rather than just making money, which is something you don’t always come across. The care and attention he gives make a big difference in both the experience and the results. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a trustworthy and skilled chiropractor. Honestly I should’ve gone earlier.From the moment I walked in the reception team was really friendly and made everything easy. Didn’t have to wait long either. Dr Ravin actually took the time to listen to what I was feeling and explained what might be causing the pain.The treatment was gentle but effective. What surprised me most was how fast I could feel the difference. My hand felt less stiff almost straight away.
